Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Join RBC Global Asset Management as Director, Global Operations Transformation, leading the strategic direction and modernization of our global operations infrastructure. This critical leadership role drives GAM towards its target state through Order Management platform modernization, Middle Office transformation, and a globalized operating model. You'll lead transformational initiatives that enhance operational excellence, optimize end-to-end workflows, and deliver measurable business value across our global operations ecosystem, with key accountability for our Trade Order Management Systems and broader operations ecosystem.What will you do?Lead the global Operations Transformation and multi-year roadmap including platform evolution for global Trade Order Management, Middle Office, Data Management and Back-Office aligning strategic vision with GAM's business strategy, workflows, and regulatory requirementsSet up and drive the Order Management & Middle Office Transformation Program Steering Committee, harmonize governance, priorities, and resource allocation across North America, UK, and APACManage the enhancement backlog and change programs, balancing strategic initiatives with operational stability while coordinating major releases and upgradesEnsure global Trade Order Management platform performance, stability, and scalability through proactive monitoring, integration management with upstream/downstream systems, and automation opportunitiesDefine and track platform KPIs including user adoption, straight-through processing rates, operational efficiency gains through use of AI or otherwise, and ROI through quarterly business reviewsBuild trusted partnerships with Investment Teams, Operations, Technology, and Data Management to translate business needs into platform solutionsManage strategic vendor relationships, ensuring roadmap alignment, platform innovation, and optimal business value realizationLead by influence,



and drive success through goal setting, performance management, and change management supportWhat do you need to succeed?Must HaveMinimum 12-15 years of experience in investment operations, trading operations, or front office technology roles with direct exposure to Order Management Systems and Middle Office platformsDeep expertise in Order Management Systems (Charles River preferred) and Middle Office platforms across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternativesProven track record leading large-scale transformation programs (> $5M budget, multi-year duration, cross-functional teams) with demonstrated business impactExperience managing global platforms across multiple regions, time zones, and regulatory jurisdictions with strong cross-cultural collaboration skillsAI competency and experience leveraging emerging technologies for operational automation and efficiencyNice to HaveVendor management experience including contract negotiation, SLA management, and strategic partnership development with enterprise software providersExperience with adjacent platforms in the investment, funds & portfolio operations ecosystem such as Eagle Accounting, SimCorp Dimension, or other portfolio management systemsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworks for technology deliveryWhat's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
