Randstad Victoria is now looking for a Accounting Assistant for a well known Client of ours in the non-profit industry. If you are up for the challenge, we want to hear from you!

- Work Days Monday – Friday.
- Working hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours.
- Job Type: Full time – Temporary - 2-5 weeks could go longer

Responsibilities

- Monitoring banks account daily and coding and posting all revenue transactions.
- Processing tenant rent charges, payments, adjustments and security deposits in Arcori tenant rent roll program and Microsoft GP accounting module and preparing the payments for processing by EFT and PAD payments.
- Preparing invoices to funders and following up on receivables.
- Posting all revenue and receivables transactions.
- Reviewing receipts for accuracy and investigate discrepancies or missing payments.

Qualifications

- Completion of Grade 12 and post-secondary accounting/bookkeeping courses or relevant
administration courses
- At least two years directly related accounting/bookkeeping experience including large volumes of accounts payables or receivables (+ 200 invoices per week), cash-handling, and working in a multi department organization
- Experience in non-profit organizations is an asset.




- Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check will be required (provided for successful candidates)
