Job Summary

Voyago is recruiting for School Bus Drivers in Ottawa (Stittsville, Dunrobin, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean, west end). Permanent positions. Split shift with morning and afternoon runs. Must be close to coverage area.

Responsibilities

- Safely transport students to and from school.
- Ensure student safety while boarding and exiting buses.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.
- Help fuel and maintain cleanliness of the bus.

Qualifications

- Safety focused.
- Valid minimum full Ontario G class driver's license (Preference for B class).
- 21 years of age or over.
- Clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
- Sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently.
- Available for required split shifts of 4-5 hours total, Monday–Friday 6:30am–9:30am and 1:30pm–5pm.
- Solid communication skills, must be fluent in English.
- Pre‑hire driving skills and radio communication assessment.

Compensation & Advantages

Competitive hourly driving rate of $23.00 per hour.



$2000 retention bonus for qualifying drivers. Minimum 4‑hour daily split; compensation for full route if morning and afternoon taken. Opportunities for extra hours with charters. EAP and Perks programs for all drivers.
