In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to surgical patients, ensuring their safety and comfort before, during, and after their procedures. Your responsibilities will include pre-operative assessments, intra-operative interventions, and post-operative evaluations. We seek a skilled RN with a post-graduate OR course or Perioperative Nursing Certificate to enhance our Operating Room department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-operative assessments of surgical patients
• Assist in surgical procedures and interventions
• Provide post-operative evaluations for patients
• Maintain a sterile environment and equipment readiness
• Collaborate with surgical teams for optimal patient care
Requirements:
• Valid RN certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent OR experience preferred
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
