Position Overview Experience

Six (6) months experience in the Health Records Department of a hospital OR.

One (1) year related clerical experience.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Grade 12, or recognized equivalent.

Qualifications and Skills

Keyboard Speed - 45 wpm.

Ability to work in a Windows operating setting.

Ability to read, write speak and understand English.

Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.

Good interpersonal communication skills.

This Indefinite Term may expire subject to one (1) weeks’ notice.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search),



Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
