You will guide a skilled engineering team, shape local strategy, influence operational performance and help create an environment where people, processes and technology work together to deliver better outcomes.About the roleAs Process Enable Engineering Manager Enable, you will lead a team responsible for enabling strong manufacturing performance across safety, quality, productivity, delivery and capacity. You will translate business priorities into clear team goals, build alignment across key stakeholders and help ensure that engineering activity supports both current production needs and future business growth.You will play a pivotal role in supporting a safe manufacturing environment, developing robust processes, driving structured problem solving and championing continuous improvement. Working as part of the wider SCM leadership team, you will promote high standards, encourage collaboration and help embed effective methodologies, digital thinking and Siemens Healthineers values across the business.This role will suit someone who enjoys combining strategic leadership with practical engineering problem solving. You will be comfortable setting direction, coaching others, managing priorities and making informed decisions using data, insight and sound engineering judgement.What you'll be doingLeading, supporting and developing a team of engineers, creating an environment where people can perform, grow and contribute.Translating business strategy into clear local priorities, team goals and measurable deliverables.Enabling performance against key KPIs, including safety, quality, productivity, delivery and capacity.Supporting safe manufacturing through effective risk assessment, COSHH assessment, safe working practices and compliance with health,



safety and environmental policies.Driving quality standards that align with relevant international quality management standards and regulations.Coordinating responses to internal and external quality issues through agreed reporting processes and structured problem solving.Providing technical line support for production, including the analysis and resolution of incidents that affect production capability.Assessing dependencies linked to new product introduction, factory capacity and engineering change management.Using data analysis and insight to make informed decisions and identify opportunities to improve business performance.Creating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the team and wider SCM community.Overseeing departmental projects, monitoring progress, managing quality expectations and supporting effective delivery.Developing, managing, monitoring and controlling relevant budgets, including capital expenditure.Building solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through explicit, open and regular communication.Preparing professional reports on business and departmental activities, achievements and challenges.Deputising for the Head of SCM Processes when required.Supporting multi site operations, including volume production at current facility, and transition of drycool products to our new facilityWhat skills and experience you'll bringA degree in engineering or a related field.Leadership experience in a comparable manufacturing, engineering or technical environment.Strong engineering judgement, with the ability to assess technical proposals, challenge constructively and help mitigate project risks.A solid understanding of engineering principles, with the ability to coach others in their application.Experience of process monitoring, structured problem solving and continuous improvement.Knowledge of data analysis,
