Wage, Vacation & Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $18.25 per hour OR
- Piece Rate: $0.34 – $0.442 per lb (whichever is higher, in compliance with BC Employment Standards)
- Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages
- Annual Performance Bonus: Available based on productivity and performance

Job Duties
The Harvesting Labourer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Picking, sorting, weighing, and cleaning mushrooms according to quality standards
- Packing and loading mushrooms for farm transport
- Loading, unloading, and transferring crates, farm produce, supplies, and products for transport
- Organizing, cleaning,
and maintaining racks and trays used for harvested mushrooms
- Performing repetitive harvesting and handling tasks in a quick-paced agricultural environment
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and complying with food safety and hygiene standards
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and employer instructions at all times
Work Environment
- Indoor agricultural (mushroom growing) environment
- Physically demanding work involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements
- Humid and temperature-controlled conditions
Employment Requirements
- No minimum education required
- No minimum work experience required
- On-the-job training provided
- Physically able to perform repetitive and manual tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Work hours and shift schedules may vary according to production needs
