Operations Team Lead – Milton

Short Term Contract: 4 Weeks, with potential to extend.

$28 – $33 per hour, based on experience.

Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Location: Milton, ON – James Snow Parkway / Regional Rd.

Responsibilities

- Assist senior leaders to improve customer satisfaction, distribution performance, and customer retention.
- Collaborate with internal departments to drive continuous process improvement.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve a wide range of issues, providing quick and decisive solutions within existing policies and identifying the need for policy revision or creation.
- Assess warehouse management technologies to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency in the distribution center.
- Direct overall safety functions of the distribution center.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable experience preferred.
- 3‑5 years of managing multiple functions within a manufacturing or distribution facility, specifically coordinating order picking and stock‑keeping functions.
- Minimum 2 years of lead or supervisor experience.
- Minimum 2 years of operating warehouse equipment, including order picker; stand‑up reach, sit‑down reach, and swing reach experience a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of positive warehouse practices and principles.
- Strong computer skills (PC and main‑frame applications).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
