Explain procedures Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners Operate mammography units Position patients Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals materials to patients or to biological samples Train technicians, assistants, students or interns Record and process results of procedures Apply radiation protection measures Explain procedures and side effects of radiation Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment Record and process patient data Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination Credentials
