JOB SUMMARY This role focuses on maintaining and refreshing interior and exterior spaces across the resort – from the chalet and guest facilities to staff areas and operational buildings. You’ll be responsible for surface preparation, painting, finishing, and light repairs, working with a variety of materials in a dynamic workplace. This is a hands‑on role suited for someone who takes pride in their craft, works independently, and is comfortable adapting to changing priorities throughout the season.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare,
paint, and finish surfaces across resort facilities
Maintain and touch up high‑traffic guest areas, paint on buildings and/or furniture and furnishings
Perform minor repairs and surface maintenance
Work closely with the facilities team to keep projects on track
Other duties as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position is under the supervision of our Facilities Maintenance Manager and Supervisors and does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Experience in painting or general maintenance required
Strong attention to detail and quality
Experience with Work Safe procedures and working at heights an asset
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all conditions
A practical, problem‑solving approach
Good communication skills, self‑motivated, mature, dependable, and able to work well with others in a team environment
Man‑lift operating experience preferred
Valid driver’s license an asset
WORKING CONDITIONS Painters perform some of their duties outdoors and may work in all different kinds of weather conditions. Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS $23.94 - $29.73/hour, exact rate dependent on skills and experience.
