Conducting in-person assessments with individuals in their homes or public locations. In limited circumstances, assessments may be virtually or by phone. Travel is required, including occasional overnight stays, within defined regions of the province. Recording information obtained during the assessment process in an electronic data management system. Analyzing/reviewing information for correctness and ensuring the consistent and equitable application of the assessment tool. Providing project reporting and information as requested (verbal, paper, electronic), such as statistics, status updates, scheduling information, challenges, etc. to Senior Supervisor, management, and Ministry staff as required. Ongoing communication with Senior Supervisor and Administrator,
as well as other Assessors in carrying out of responsibilities. Developing, scheduling, and coordinating daily workflow within specified timeframes. Liaising with other community organizations or support persons as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education
Degree in Human Services. Experience
Minimum of two years related assessment work experience. Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. In depth understanding of disability issues including conducting assessments (disability, impact, functional, vocational). Computer proficiency, including excellent typing skills. Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License and use of personal vehicle. Final Requirements
Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search.
