Application Information

In this role, you will:

- Ensure relevant geological data and observations are accurately collected, using specialized software and tools.
- Be responsible for drill core logging and sampling, probing drill holes with geophysical tools, creating and maintaining interpretive cross sections, handling drill core boxes, flagging the position of drill trails and drill holes, and other duties associated with drill programs as assigned.
- Collaborate with the project team to produce high quality geological interpretations and share oversight of exploration field operations, including supervision of contractors and geological team members.
- Perform office-related activities such as data compilation and interpretation, as well as assisting the project geologist with reporting requirements.

Required:

- bachelors degree in geology or related discipline;
- minimum two years relevant work experience;




- eligible for registration with the Association of Skilled Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS);
- ability to work in remote locations for extended periods of time;
- digital literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; and
- valid class 5 driver's license.

Recommended:

- First Aid, ATV and/or snowmobile training;
- GIS and 3D geological modelling experience;
- masters degree or PHD in geology or geoscience; and
- previous mineral exploration, drill core logging and/or uranium industry experience.
