Scheduling Requirements

- 12‑hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Flexible for day, evening, and overnight shifts preferred.
- Commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
- Ready to see multiple clients throughout the day.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide personal care as outlined in clients’ care plans.
- Offer companionship and light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals in accordance with client or family requests.
- Assist with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, linen changes.
- Help with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
- Use equipment safely and meet client safety needs.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

- Valid driver’s license and reliable car for daily work.
- Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.




- PSW certification from an approved educational institution.
- Negative TB test completed within the last year.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate.
- Valid WHMIS2015 Certificate of Completion.
- COVID vaccination receipts (subject to exemption).
- Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria, and hepatitis B.
- Valid criminal record check within the last year.
- Good judgment, ability to work independently and cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Current/valid Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) Registration an asset.
