A Business Analyst will work directly with more experienced Professional Services staff to enable business and operational success through the application of business analytics knowledge. Key Responsibilities
Develop a limited scope of project charters, current state designs, define key inputs and outputs, and support the development of data dictionaries for process improvements and reporting efforts across the Professional Services division Develop and maintain key relationships with Professional Services staff to improve and support business initiatives Engage with project managers, technical advisors, technical experts, analysts, and business users within Qualified Services to understand business requirements and information needs and deliver meaningful information products Partner with experienced colleagues to design, develop, and deliver process, reporting, and system enhancements Support senior colleagues in requirements gathering efforts through interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, and data analysis Develop and maintain regular weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting at team and department levels Support the continuous improvement of workflows and data visualization tools to ensure they drive business results, including dashboards, reports, and self-service reporting capabilities Requirements
1+ years of professional experience in a business analyst capacity supporting business intelligence Ability to analyze and document complex business processes Proven ability to deliver multiple, simultaneous projects, reports, and initiatives on time With guidance from others, evaluate and translate business requirements and needs into meaningful and impactful solutions Engage and build stable working relationships with Professional Services staff and stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field Working knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau, SQL Server, SAP, Power BI, or similar analytical reporting tools Experience working in a Professional Services organization Master’s degree in Information Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field Esri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
