In this full-time role based in Acheson, you will contribute significantly to MV/LV switchgear applications. Your expertise in design, relay programming, and IEC 61850 implementation will drive successful project outcomes. This position demands a holistic design mindset, allowing you to innovate and lead technical projects for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review client specifications and produce functional designs • Develop complex relay setting files for various manufacturers • Design ATS logic for power source transitions • Configure digital substations with IEC 61850 standards • Author testing plans and lead on-site commissioning
Requirements: • 10+ years in Automation, 5+ in protection systems • Proficient in Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP3 • Experience with HMI and SCADA programming • Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
