Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain – Digital Procurement and Source-to-Pay Transformation. In this role, you will help clients modernize procurement through process redesign, operating model improvements, digital platform enablement, analytics, workflow automation, and emerging AI-enabled procurement capabilities.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada security clearance is required due to the nature of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Management:
- Develop procurement solutions and guide client strategy with expert-level knowledge of e-procurement and broader digital procurement technologies, focusing on SAP Ariba and related e-Procurement platforms.
- Own delivery of key workstreams or end-to-end project modules across digital procurement and source-to-pay transformation engagements.
- Manage client relationships for day-to-day delivery, issue resolution, and executive stakeholder alignment.
- Provide business process design and functional expertise across all phases of technology implementation, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and change management.
- Support project leadership in business development and market growth initiatives.
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, resource planning, and day-to-day client interactions.
- People Development:
- Foster the development of digital procurement capabilities within EY’s Supply Chain practice.
- Create a positive team environment and provide coaching and support to junior staff.
- Assist senior leadership with practice development activities such as recruiting and training.
- Business Development:
- Lead or support pursuit development, proposal content, and go-to-market activities.
- Contribute to practice growth by identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients, supporting proposals and pursuits, and shaping EY’s digital procurement offerings in the Canadian market.
- Collaborate across EY service lines to identify and support business development opportunities.
- Develop new solutions and innovative ways of working to advance EY’s innovation agenda.
AI Responsibilities
- Apply AI in the flow of work with robust professional judgement, integrating AI into day-to-day delivery while validating outputs, challenging assumptions, and maintaining accountability for quality.
- Lead responsible and risk-aware use of AI, demonstrating sound judgement on data use, confidentiality, and ethical considerations, and escalating risks appropriately.
- Drive structured and creative problem-solving using AI, using AI to accelerate analysis, scenario generation, and insight development while maintaining clear linkage to business outcomes.
- Build repeatable ways of working with AI, developing and sharing prompts, approaches, and tool usage that improve team productivity and consistency in existing data libraries/catalogues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Subject matter knowledge of digital procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba or other procurement and spend management solutions.
- 5–7+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience in procurement, supply chain, or source-to-pay transformation, including experience leading workstreams or end-to-end delivery responsibilities in complex transformation environments.
- Experience delivering procurement or source-to-pay transformation in public sector and regulated environments (Federal Departments, Defence ecosystem, crown corporations, or broader government-adjacent organizations) is strongly preferred.
- Functional/technical proficiency in full lifecycle delivery of business transformation projects.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada security clearance (minimum Reliability Status; Secret clearance may be required depending on client engagement).
Preferred Qualifications
- A high level of motivation, strong work ethic, and a self-starting attitude.
- Working knowledge in one or more of the following: Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, or Procure-to-Pay processes.
- A willingness to travel to meet client and practice needs.

Salary Range
Ottawa : $108,000 to $162,500
