Reporting to the Manager of Patient Flow & Scheduling, the Bed Allocator will support healthcare operations by acting as a liaison between various departments. Key responsibilities include optimizing room utilization and ensuring care requirements are met. Ideal candidates will have clerical experience and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:



• Coordinate room allocations and patient flow effectively • Liaise with admitting and receiving parties for smooth operations • Maintain accurate records and data using Meditech • Prioritize and manage multiple demands under pressure • Collaborate with staff in an inter-professional healthcare environment

Requirements: • One-year Medical Office Administration certificate • Up to six months of healthcare clerical experience • Proficient in Meditech, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently with sound judgment
