The West End & Coal Harbour Community Centres are looking for a proactive Behaviour Support Leader for their Summer Day Camp. This role focuses on providing effective behavior support and creating a safe, engaging space for children. You will collaborate with a team to implement and adapt plans while training others in behavior management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead Day Camp activities
• Implement individualized behavior support plans
• Train staff and family members in effective techniques
• Foster a positive and educational camp atmosphere
• Coordinate with Recreation staff for program success
Requirements:
• Experience in day camps, especially with neurodiverse children
• Solid leadership abilities
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Successful Police Records clearance
• Passion for child development and recreation
