Compensation:
$110,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager, under limited supervision, is responsible for managing the efficient operation and maintenance of all plant equipment and process systems, utilities, automation systems, personnel and contractors while maintaining a safe working environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages maintenance staff and their training & development
Owns / Drives TPM - critical spares, PM’s, PdM, Lube, operator maintenance
Manages all Capital Maintenance and projects
IT Systems Administrator II
Build programs for preventive, proactive and predictive maintenance
Manages maintenance software system-CMMS/EAM
Owns scheduled maintenance work - reviews each job; decides what the correct repair should be; identifies, sources and kits all needed parts; decides if contractors or special tools/equip are needed; coordinates needed downtime with operations
Accountable for all unplanned equipment downtime and reduced run rates
Lead by example,
capable of maintaining and repairing all equipment autonomously if needed
Enhance the longevity and performance of the equipment’s
Proactively address any issues that impact machine performance
Enforces all safety rules and compliance set forth by government regulations and company policies
Ensure all hazardous conditions are promptly reported and corrected
Keep maintenance records up to date on all equipment
Interface with vendors on the possible purchase of equipment and facility needs.
Maintain proper documentation for the dust collector system
Works with Line Lead Person on insuring weigh scales are consistently providing proper data.
Responsible for proper mixture of scent chemicals and additives
Performs QA for all maintenance work
Proficient in all QA/tech tasks for HPWS and reached all team and business skills of Level 4 Maintenance Tech
Actively involved with new product development that may impact the manufacturing and packaging process
Create and maintain an active spare parts list
Continuous Improvement/Lean
Acts as resource and champion for department continuous improvement activities (Suggestion Program, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, problem solving, etc.).

Education & Experience
5+ years’ experience required in a maintenance leadership role
10+ years’ maintenance experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Licensed electrician strongly preferred
2+ years working with automation and PLC
Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
Experience in PLC’s and plant automation
Able to operate startups and shutdowns of critical plant machinery
Proficient in all types of troubleshooting and repair
Strong skills in root cause analysis
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, an employee is typically required to have the ability to exert physical strength, coordinate movements,
use repetitive motions, have the ability to operate mobile equipment, regularly stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, crouch, kneel, lift, twist, push and pull throughout a work shift, work in confined spaces, have manual dexterity, lift materials weighing up to and including 50 pounds, select and use appropriate equipment/tools to accomplish job duties, read, write, listen, speak and understand English, follow all instructions and other oral/written information, visually inspect equipment/work area, complete paperwork and other documentation accurately, identify, analyze, troubleshoot and solve issues using judgement and mechanical knowledge/abilities, react quickly as needed, be organized and detail oriented, be able to identify/judge the urgency of a situation, use judgement in decision making, communicate effectively with others, be aware of oneself in relation to surrounding equipment, work independently and as a team with others. Ability to instruct/transfer job information/knowledge to others is required. Ability to lift between 50 and 100 pounds is preferred.
There is exposure to plant production areas, which may include exposure to outside weather conditions as well as loud noise from equipment and dust from production processes. Exposure to plant areas requires the use of appropriate safety equipment. Personal protective equipment is available for employee use in these circumstances.
