POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, the Le St-Charles private retirement residence will charm you with its exceptional views. Walking trails and landscaped rest areas allow you to fully enjoy the proximity to the river.

Schedule: Full-time, daytime, one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing kitchen employee schedules

Food Services

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork

Create tasty menus while respecting the expected level of quality and the allocated budget

Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards

Perform inventory duties,



receive and store food for the kitchen

Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen

Take inventory of service materials and while adhering to the budgets, proceed with procurement if necessary

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Flexibility for the work schedule

Positive team player

Experience in a large restorations volume (an asset)

2 years of experience in high-volume catering

Valid MAPAQ certification
