Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a Material Handler/Coordinator at our project in Nisku, AB.

- Schedule Rotation: Monday to Friday
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

Receiving & Material Control

- Coordinate receipt and inspection of incoming materials.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips,



and material test reports.
- Ensure material traceability requirements are maintained.
- Coordinate material identification and labeling procedures.
- Manage non-conforming materials in conjunction with Quality Control.
- Issue materials to production crews and fabrication shops.
- Coordinate material movement between laydown areas, fabrication bays, and assembly locations.
- Ensure fabrication foremen have visibility of material availability and shortages.
- Support project teams with material status reporting.

What We Are Looking For

- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments.
- Maintain organized and safe material storage areas.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

- Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
