SUMMARY

Mushkegowuk Development Corporation (MDC) is seeking amotivated Logistics & Procurement Support Intern to join MDC Supply LP, agrowing First Nation-owned business providing supply, procurement and logisticsservices to businesses and communities across Northern Ontario. Reporting tothe Capital Projects Manager, the Intern will gain practical, hands-onexperience in procurement, logistics and supply chain coordination whilesupporting customer and project orders from quotation through delivery. The idealcandidate is organized, detail-oriented, eager to develop their skills inprocurement and logistics, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support procurement andlogistics coordination for customer and project orders from quotationthrough delivery.
- Assist with quotations,supplier pricing, procurement documentation and order processing.
- Coordinate with suppliers,freight providers and warehouse staff to support timely order fulfillmentand delivery.
- Track orders,



deliveryschedules and related documentation using internal tracking tools andspreadsheets.
- Support bulk purchasing,freight consolidation and seasonal supply initiatives, including winterroad activities.
- Communicate with customersregarding quotations, order status, delivery timelines and requireddocumentation.
- Assist management withprocurement and logistics requirements for projects and other businessinitiatives.
- Support sales and marketingactivities, customer inquiries and identification of new supplyopportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong organizational andanalytical skills.
- Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice, especially Excel.
- Qualified communicationskills and attention to detail.
- Not required, but education,coursework, or relevant work experience in Supply Chain Management,Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
- Speaking Cree is an asset
- Familiarity with transportationand travel logistics in the Mushkegowuk region is an asset
