About the Role

The Company is seeking a Provost and Vice-President Academic to serve as its Chief Academic Officer and provide strategic leadership for the institution's academic mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing academic planning, program quality, faculty affairs, and academic policy, with a strong focus on the advancement of teaching, learning, research, and student success. A commitment to reconciliation, a sophisticated understanding of collegial governance, and the ability to work effectively with Senate, the Board, Deans, and faculty are essential. The role requires a leader with strong financial stewardship, integrity, humility, and sound judgment, who can balance consultation and consensus-building with decisiveness and accountability.
