We are currently hiring to fill the need of a Senior Systems & Network Administrator.Job Summary:The Senior Systems & Network Administrator position provides internal ownership of the company's technology environment. The objective is to shape the future of our technology workplace. Your work will directly improve cybersecurity, operational reliability, and the efficiency of our business while giving you the autonomy to recommend and implement meaningful improvements.Role and Responsibilities:Infrastructure & SystemsOwn the administration and performance of Windows Server and Hyper-V environments.Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and core infrastructure.Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and licensing.Support SQL Server environments, including maintenance, backups, and performance monitoring.Network & SecurityMaintain and optimize multi-site networking, VPN connectivity, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, MFA, and security best practices.Perform monthly server patching, firmware updates,



and system health monitoring.Ensure backup and disaster recovery solutions are tested and remain business-ready.IT LeadershipLead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.Coordinate with external IT vendors and consultants for specialized expertise.Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, standards, and procedures.Manage hardware lifecycle planning, licensing, and technology roadmaps.Recommend improvements that increase reliability, security, and operational efficiency.User & Operational SupportAct as the senior escalation point for technical issues.Support business-critical applications and operational systems.Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical after-hours issues when required.Participation in an on-call support rotation is requiredRequired Experience10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.At least 5 years in a Senior Systems Administrator or similar infrastructure leadership role.Demonstrated experience owning enterprise IT environments from planning through ongoing support.Technical ExpertiseWindows ServerHyper-V virtualizationActive Directory & Group PolicyMicrosoft 365 administrationSQL Server administration and maintenanceMicrosoft Power BIMulti-site networking, VPNs, switching, and firewallsCybersecurity and endpoint protectionBackup and disaster recoveryPowerShell scripting is considered an assetIndustry Experience (Preferred)Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, recycling, logistics, or similar operational environments is an asset.Working EnvironmentCollaborative, team-oriented workplace.Fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.On-site with occasional after-hours maintenance and emergency response. #J-18808-Ljbffr
