Your Day to Day: As a

Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) , you will provide compassionate care and support to residents while promoting their dignity, comfort, and independence.

Resident Care & Support:

Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and toileting.



Provide emotional support and encourage participation in activities and community life. Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour, or needs.

Medication & Team Support:

Administer medications as delegated (for certified UCPs). Support the nursing team and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Complete required documentation and resident care records.

Safety & Quality Care:

Follow infection control, safety procedures, and organizational policies. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

What You Bring to the Table: Qualifications:

Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent. Medication administration certification is an asset and required for delegated medication duties. Successful criminal background check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening. Up-to-date immunizations as required.

Experience & Skills:

1–2 years of experience in long-term care, retirement living, hospital, or community care preferred. Compassionate and patient with strong communication skills. Ability to work as part of a healthcare team and provide resident-focused care.
