Description

Full-time position (30 to 40 hours per week). Salary is $20 per hour. Starts as soon as possible. Work is on-site at the caregiver's client home; remote work not available. Work setting: non-smoking. Accommodation on live-in basis available at no charge (not a condition of employment).

Tasks

- Care for an elderly man with disability, including bedside and personal care.
- Assist with bathing, personal hygiene, and regular exercise such as walking.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Requirements

- Security and safety: Criminal record check required.
- Weight handling: Capability to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, initiative, organization, reliability.
- Education: Secondary/high school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Languages: English.
