Execute and lead programs related to the assessment, monitoring, management, and remediation of contaminated sites

Participate in environmental and contaminated site projects, including Stage 1 and 2 PSIs, DSIs, remediation programs, and long-term environmental monitoring and maintenance

Participate in fieldwork involving sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and surface water

Participate in decommissioning and remediation programs and remediation system operation and maintenance, including direct contractor oversight

Assist with preparation of technical reports

Support project managers with project planning, coordination, reporting, and tracking schedules and budgets

Assist with technical and financial proposal preparation

Work independently and in small teams at urban and remote locations

Support other technical disciplines and multidisciplinary projects

Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams

Contribute to the full project life cycle, including budgeting, planning, coordinating, execution, data analysis, reviews, and reporting

Requirements

Diploma or degree from a technical college or university in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Engineering

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, ideally within British Columbia

Previous experience in contaminated sites investigation is a strong asset

Eligibility for, or progress toward, professional status with a professional organization such as P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T, P.Tech, or C.E.T.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and a cooperative mindset





Valid driver’s license

Regular access to a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites and clients

Passion for fieldwork and availability to work away from home, potentially for up to 2 weeks at a time

Availability for 5-day field assignments with 10-hour workdays, occasional 6-day workweeks, and possible weekend, holiday, or outside-standard-hours work

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varied weather conditions and on active construction sites

Ability to work for extended periods in different regions

Proficient in fieldwork involving soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling, with a commitment to safety and effective communication in multidisciplinary teams.
