Nasittuq is seeking Vehicle Mechanics to join their team supporting the North Warning System across remote Arctic sites. This is a unique opportunity to work on a 6-weeks-on, 6-weeks-off fly-in/fly-out rotation, maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment in challenging northern environments. Provincial or Territorial Certificate of Qualification as a 310T Truck and Coach Technician, 310S Automotive Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician,



or equivalent recognized trade certification Military QL5 qualification in Heavy Equipment, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Automotive Technician, or equivalent (considered) Diesel endorsement (asset) Valid Driver’s Licence Minimum five years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing vehicles, heavy equipment, diesel-powered systems, or mobile support equipment Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems Experience with construction equipment, fleet vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, off-road equipment, or industrial machinery Ability to travel to adjacent sites and support operations across multiple remote locations Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations Enhanced Reliability or Secret Level Security Clearance (must obtain and maintain) What Will Make You Stand Out
