The RCMP is seeking a dedicated Firearms Instructor to join the Firearms Training Unit. This full-time position calls for individuals with experience instructing in firearms environments. The instructor will play a key role in delivering comprehensive firearms training and conducting live demonstrations to prepare cadets for future responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct a Basic Firearms Instructors Course • Conduct live shooting demonstrations in controlled settings • Lead training sessions in tactical firearms environments • Ensure safety and compliance during training operations • Work evenings or weekends as required
Requirements: • Secondary school diploma or equivalent • Experience instructing in firearms training • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Reliability Security clearance • Ability to complete annual firearms re-certification • Robust communication skills and dependability
