Production Manager

to join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in

High Prairie, Alberta

. Our mill has undergone an

exciting major rebuild

and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press making us one of the most

modern mills in North America

. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications

Grade 12 diploma; post-secondary education

in Engineering,

Wood Sciences

, Manufacturing, or a related field is considered an asset. Demonstrated c ommitment to safety leadership

and safe work practices. Proven leadership experience

with the ability to

motivate, coach, and develop teams. Strong

organizational, planning, problem-solving

, and decision-making skills. Excellent

communication and interpersonal abilities. 3-5 years of manufacturing experience

, preferably within wood products or a heavy industrial setting. Experience

leading teams in a production setting. Continuous manufacturing and continuous press experience

is considered an asset. Proficiency with

Microsoft Office

Lead, coach, and develop frontline teams

to achieve operational excellence. Champion a strong safety culture





through visible leadership and accountability. Drive production performance, productivity, recovery, and quality results. Collaborate across operations,

maintenance, and leadership teams to solve challenges and improve processes. Manage staffing, scheduling, and resources

to meet production targets and budgets. Identify

operational, maintenance, and safety improvement opportunities. Support continuous improvement initiatives

. You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is

$117,000 to $156,000

per year. You’ll earn an additional

northern allowance

on top of your base pay. You’ll be eligible to participate in Tolko’s

bonus program

. You’ll be eligible for excellent benefits

. You may also be eligible for relocation support
