This full-time position requires a proactive mindset and 2-3 years of experience in community outreach and mentorship coordination, ideally with Black or equity-deserving communities. You will develop recruitment strategies, establish community partnerships, and create engaging training for mentors, emphasizing awareness of anti-Black racism. Your organizational skills will be key in supporting youth needs and enhancing the mentorship experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement mentor recruitment strategies • Build partnerships with community organizations and businesses • Coordinate mentor-mentee matching based on interests • Facilitate mentor engagement training sessions • Monitor participation and address challenges proactively
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Social Work or related field • 2-3 years experience in youth programming • Strong understanding of anti-Black racism • Excellent communication and facilitation skills • Ability to work flexible schedule as needed
