We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our IT team and play a key role in the evolution of our enterprise data and analytics environment.
Reporting to the IT Director; you will work closely with business leaders and technical teams to transform data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects using Microsoft Fabric; Azure Data Lakehouse; OneLake; Synapse Analytics; Power BI; and modern data architecture.
What You'll Be Working On
- Participate in the analysis; design; and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions across multiple business units;
- Gather; analyze; and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications;
- Contribute to the evolution of the enterprise data warehouse and analytics ecosystem within the Microsoft Azure environment;
- Design and optimize data models; ETL/ELT processes; and data integration workflows;
- Develop interactive dashboards; reports; and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI;
- Ensure data integrity; quality; governance; and security across the organization;
- Collaborate with developers; IT teams; and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing analytics solutions;
- Participate in testing; validation; deployment; and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Support strategic projects focused on improving operational performance and business decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science; Business Intelligence; Information Systems; Business Analysis; or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence; Data Analytics; or Data Warehouse environments;
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Fabric
- OneLake
- Synapse Analytics
- Power BI
- DAX and Power Query
- Strong expertise in data modelling; data warehouse architecture; and ETL/ELT processes;
- Advanced SQL skills;
- Experience with Python and PySpark;
- Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements across multiple business units and stakeholder groups;
- Experience managing access and security within Power BI and Azure environments; including RBAC and RLS;
- Experience integrating data from APIs (REST/SOAP) is considered an asset;
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
- Highly autonomous; organized; and self‑motivated;
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
