Monitor and analyze inventory levels across assigned sales divisions and item categories, identifying risks, opportunities, and required actions Analyze sales, forecasts, supply, inventory turns, service levels, and replenishment data to develop and maintain item-level inventory and replenishment strategies Collaborate with Sales on assigned item-category forecasts, incorporating business requirements and market insights into inventory planning Work with Buyers to ensure replenishment plans are executed effectively and inventory levels are maintained appropriately Report to senior management on inventory levels, risks, trends, and inventory-related issues, providing recommendations and actionable insights Leverage ERP and BI tools to optimize inventory levels and improve replenishment planning Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc inventory, replenishment, and analytical reports Identify reporting efficiencies and streamline Demand Planning analysis Review designated areas of analysis and identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and inventory management Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues with Sales, Buyers, Demand Planning, and other stakeholders Analyze data accurately, identify discrepancies, and ensure appropriate corrections are made Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
5 to 7 years of experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, replenishment, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is an asset Advanced Excel skills Hands-on experience with ERP and/or BI reporting tools Microsoft 365 and Power BI experience are assets Experience analyzing sales forecasts, inventory turns,
service levels, safety stock, and replenishment requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into explicit recommendations Strong communication, relationship‑building, and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with a high level of accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience in food, retail grocery, foodservice, distribution, or import/export environments is an asset Independent thinker with sound judgment and proactive issue‑resolution abilities Positive, collaborative, and results‑oriented approach Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment Criminal background check required Core Competencies
