This role involves working under a supervising Physiotherapist to assist with the implementation of treatment programs for residents in a Long Term Care setting. Candidates must be comfortable conducting group and one-on-one exercises, documenting progress, and assisting with mobility tasks. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct group exercises and assist with one-on-one sessions • Encourage residents to meet treatment program goals • Document treatments and progress after therapy sessions • Assist residents with walking, sitting, and transferring • Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health status
Requirements: • Graduate or equivalent of a Physiotherapy Assistant program • Solid multi-tasking abilities under pressure • Excellent communication skills with the elderly • Experience in Long Term Care homes is an asset • Current police check for Vulnerable Sector required
