The position is based at our Saint-Hyacinthe plant

Your role The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities related to the buildings, utilities, and plant infrastructure to ensure their reliability, performance, and compliance.





Working closely with the maintenance and production teams as well as external partners, you play a key role in asset management, work planning, maintenance cost optimization, and the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and systems.

What you will accomplish daily

Manage the CMMS system and maintenance data.

Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities.

Ensure the reliability of the building, infrastructure, and industrial services.

Participate in problem‑solving and equipment optimization.

Manage spare parts and maintenance‑related procurement.

Contribute to budget tracking, performance indicators, and technical projects.

Supervise work carried out by external contractors.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.

What you need to join our team

Academic background in

mechanical ,

automated production , or a relevant discipline.

A minimum of

two (2) years of experience

in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Experience in the

food industry

is a robust asset.

Experience with

Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) .

Knowledge of

HACCP programs ,

GMPs , and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of

CSA standards

and industrial maintenance best practices.
