Job Details

Full time: 30 to 40 hours per week.

Location: Toronto, ON.

Work site environment: Non-smoking.

Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis; note that this is not a condition of employment.

Work in employer’s/client’s home.

Responsibilities

- Care for an elderly man with disability; administer bedside and personal care.
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
- Mend clothing and linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Requirements

- Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Languages: English.




- Security and safety: Criminal record check.
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player, patience, honesty.
