The
Technical Solutions Consultant
is a newly created role that will be responsible for the
independent technical implementation and delivery
of MES/MOM, Industrial DataOps (Unified Namespace), and digital transformation solutions for Grantek clients. This role focuses on the
technical execution (“how”)
of solutions , translating functional requirements into technical designs, leading hands‑on configuration and development, integrating systems, and ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned with Grantek standards,
timelines, and budgets. Key Responsibilities: Technical Delivery & Architecture Design and implement technical architectures for
MES/MOM solutions , Industrial DataOps platforms (UNS), and digital transformation initiatives based on functional requirements and industry best practices Translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs that solve defined business problems and deliver measurable value Maintain awareness of client business drivers, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements to ensure solutions are delivered with business context in mind Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants throughout the project lifecycle to validate requirements, ensure feasibility, and align on success criteria Implementation & Integration Lead hands‑on implementation using
Ignition ,
Sepasoft MES modules , MQTT brokers, and related platform technologies Configure and develop MES modules including
production tracking, OEE, quality, traceability, scheduling, inventory, and maintenance Design and implement
Unified Namespace (UNS)
architectures including data models (ISA-95), MQTT topic structures, and data pipelines Integrate MES/MOM solutions with
ERP, SCADA, PLCs, historians, QMS, LIMS, and analytics platforms
using appropriate integration patterns and protocols Perform scripting and development using
Python and SQL , minimizing unnecessary customization Testing, Deployment & Support Lead unit and integration testing; support user acceptance testing (UAT) Develop technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, data flows, configuration specifications, and deployment procedures Support commissioning, deployment, and go‑live activities,
troubleshooting issues and ensuring successful production cutover Manage
technical projects under $100K
with guidance, including scope, schedule, and resource coordination Collaborate with
Grantek India offshore teams
and extended workforce partners Mentor junior technical consultants and participate in code reviews Contribute to technical accelerators, templates, and reusable components Support pre‑sales technical activities including demonstrations, feasibility assessments, and architecture reviews Participate in proposal development including technical estimation and solution definition Work with clients to identify follow‑on opportunities within existing engagements Technologies Used Integration:
OPC-UA, MQTT, REST APIs, databases Qualifications
Experience 4–7 years
of experience in industrial automation, MES/MOM, or manufacturing IT Proven hands‑on experience with
Ignition and/or Sepasoft Experience implementing multiple MES functional modules Integration experience with enterprise and shop‑floor systems Technical Skills Strong
SQL and Python
scripting capabilities Understanding of
ISA-95
and manufacturing data standards Data modeling and performance optimization experience Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Professional Attributes Self‑directed with strong execution discipline Clear communicator with technical and functional stakeholders Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Strong time management and prioritization skills Willingness to mentor junior team members Additional Information
