We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to support our packaging facility in Winkler, MB. In this role you will be responsible for upholding our product quality standards and ensuring our customers receive only the very best potatoes, from our fields to their tables. What You'll Do
Conduct sampling of harvested and packed products to ensure quality standards are met. Analyze inventory to verify compliance with product specifications. Perform regular quality checks on stored products. Inspect and approve products prior to production. Communicate quality concerns and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues. Assist in product testing to identify and diagnose potential problems.
Take line samples to ensure grading equipment and grading staff are meeting required customer quality. We're Looking For
An optimistic person who sees solutions and improvement opportunities in every situation. A dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Experience with production processes with a customer-oriented mindset. Experience and/or training in quality control is an asset but not required. Positive English language skills (verbal and written). Evening shift pays a $2/hour premium. Evening shift typically runs from 3:15 pm to 11:15 pm Monday-Friday with some overtime hours as needed.
