Set up and operate all required manual production processes
Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by handheld and/or hand operated equipment
Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
Required to train other operators as needed
May be required to perform other manual operations in other departments
Requirements
Education: Grade 12 diploma
Mechanical aptitude and dexterity
Ability to read and interpret production prints
Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work
Candidate must be able to pass Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check and be compliant with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Core Competencies Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and dexterity in manual production processes while ensuring quality and quantity standards are met. Proficient in using precision measuring equipment and capable of training other operators in production procedures.
