Humans of HR is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in Greater Vancouver to hire an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across two operating facilities.

This is a leadership role responsible for maintaining and strengthening an already established safety program. The organization has an active Health & Safety Committee and dedicated safety administrators at both locations. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, and continue building a strong culture of workplace safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on safety leader who thrives in operational environments and values building sustainable, practical safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Health & Safety programs across two facilities
- Partner with the Plant Manager and operational leaders to drive safety initiatives




- Chair and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee (monthly meetings)
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and applicable standards
- Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions
- Analyze safety metrics and identify trends for continuous improvement
- Support training, education, and awareness initiatives across shifts
- Travel between local sites as required

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of progressive Health & Safety leadership experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with operations and shop-floor teams
- Experience managing safety programs across multiple sites is an asset
- Solid communication and leadership skills
