Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment.
Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process.
Monitor production process according to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner.
Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
Required to train other operators as needed.
May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.
Ability to read and interpret production prints.
Requirements
Education: Grade 12 diploma
Experience: Have demonstrated competency as Grinding Set Up Operator or equivalent machining background.
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in operating CNC and manually controlled equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring quality standards through precision measurement. Capable of training operators and effectively recording production data in tracking systems.
