Job details

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer.

- Collect fares and record transactions
- Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
- Load and unload vehicle
- Deal with public
- Complete logbooks and reports
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers).

Specialization or experience: Green economy sector.

Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/travel information: Driver's abstract, Travel expenses not paid by employer, Valid driver's licence, Vehicle supplied by employer.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: 20/20 vision, Ability to distinguish between colours, Attention to detail, Rapid-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination, Sitting, Work under pressure.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player.
