Job Details

Location: 1850 Hartley Ave, #3, Coquitlam, BC, V3K 7A1.

Hourly Rate: $26.44 – $30.00 / hour (to be negotiated).

Vacancies: 1.

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 – 40 hours per week.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay.

Qualifications

Languages: English.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years.

Personal suitability: Attention to detail, Efficient interpersonal skills, Client focus.

Job Duties

- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
- Maintain adequate stock levels.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
- Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
- Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale.
- Supervise work of other buyers.
