Are you experienced in enterprise data management within the asset management industry?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Enterprise Data Management Analyst-Data Quality/Asset Management. This position offers an exciting chance to support critical data quality initiatives in a dynamic environment, working closely with multiple stakeholders to establish trusted investment data standards and governance frameworks.

Pay rate range (CAD): $65.22/hr-$78.26/hr

Responsibilities

- Lead daily oversight and management of data quality activities across investment data domains
- Develop, maintain, and execute data quality rules, validation checks, and exception workflows
- Support management of security master, reference data, pricing, benchmarks, and transaction data
- Perform root cause analysis of data issues and coordinate remediation efforts with business and tech teams
- Ensure data consistency, completeness, and accuracy across various platforms and sources
- Facilitate security onboarding, instrument setup, and data governance processes for golden source data
- Implement controls related to pricing, benchmark mapping, and asset classification
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, and exception management reports for ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate validation requirements into controls
- Engage with external vendors such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and custodians to resolve data issues
- Contribute to the development of enterprise data standards and governance procedures
- Support cloud-based data quality initiatives on Databricks and Azure platforms
- Document data ownership and stewardship responsibilities in partnership with business owners
- Support ongoing maintenance of data quality rules and validation procedures
- Monitor compliance with data quality standards and elevate issues impacting data integrity




- Drive continuous improvement in operational data controls across key domains

Desired Skill-Set

- 5-8+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Management, Data Governance, or Investment Data Operations
- Proven ability to manage investment data domains: Security Master, Reference Data, Pricing, Benchmarks, Positions, Transactions, Corporate Actions
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience with Databricks and cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with investment platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, BNY Eagle
- Proficiency with data quality dashboards, reporting, and monitoring tools
- Demonstrated experience in data ownership, stewardship, and governance initiatives
- Effective stakeholder communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving priorities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy

Nice to Have

- Prior experience building enterprise data quality frameworks from scratch
- Knowledge of multi-asset investment products and data domains in both Asset and Wealth Management
- Exposure to data automation tools like Python or Spark
- Experience supporting data governance initiatives and transformation projects
- Previous involvement in Security Master implementation or transformation efforts
