Herc Rentals is seeking a full time AZ District Driver based in Hamilton, Ontario. This position focuses on safely delivering construction equipment while ensuring exceptional customer service.
As part of the GTA Central Operations, the District Driver will transport and retrieve heavy equipment between branches and job sites. You will operate vehicles efficiently, perform necessary inspections, and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Strong professionalism and a commitment to safety are critical in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport equipment across various locations and sites
• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain professionalism while delivering to customers
• Secure equipment following DOT safety regulations
• Report any damages or delays to management
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving automatic Tractor Trailers
• Ability to load and secure heavy equipment
• Knowledge of electronic logging devices
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
