Join OCL Group as a Journeyman Ironworker for a turnaround at CNRL Horizon, IPL Pioneer 2 Facility. This role requires expertise in structural steel installation and safety compliance.
As an experienced Ironworker, you'll work in a safety-first environment on a rotating schedule of 10/4 and 6/1 shifts. Your responsibilities include reading blueprints, bolting and welding steel, and collaborating with other trades to meet project timelines. OCL Group values a team-oriented approach and emphasizes safety protocols throughout all tasks.
Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret project blueprints accurately • Install and align structural steel components • Operate cranes and hoisting equipment for heavy materials • Bolt,
weld or rivet according to engineering specifications • Follow safety procedures and regulations thoroughly
Requirements: • Journeyperson Ironworker Certification required • Experience in multiplate assembly preferred • Strong rigging and fitting skills necessary • Valid safety tickets: CSTS-09, WHMIS, H2S Alive • Eligible to work in Canada and pass drug tests
