A highly regarded Canadian consulting firm with a strong national reputation is seeking a senior perks consulting professional to join its Toronto practice. This is a firm that works with some of Canada's largest employers on complex group benefits mandates. You will be joining a collaborative environment where quality of work takes precedence over billable hour targets and where there are no individual sales quotas.
The Role
You will manage a portfolio of large employer clients across group benefits, providing strategic advice on plan design, benchmarking, carrier management, cost optimisation, and renewals. You will also play a mentoring role within the team and contribute to business development activity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of large employer clients
Advise clients on group benefits plan design, renewals, and market benchmarking
Lead carrier negotiations and manage insurer relationships on behalf of clients
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to new business development
Mentor and support junior consultants within the practice
Stay current on Canadian benefits legislation,
market trends, and emerging issues
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in group benefits consulting or brokerage
Majority of career spent in a consulting or brokerage environment (not purely in-house)
Experience working with large employer clients
Strong client management and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated involvement in business development or client growth
