As our Fire Suppression Systems Installer , you will be responsible to install, inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems on land vehicles and marine vessels (including tugboats), ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do:

Install fire suppression systems on vehicles, mobile equipment, and marine vessels (e.g., trucks, heavy equipment, tugboats, workboats).

Read and interpret installation drawings, schematics, hydraulic layouts, vessel plans, and manufacturer manuals.

Mount system components including cylinders, nozzles, detection tubing, pumps, reservoirs, injectors, lines, actuation devices, and control panels.

Route, secure, and protect tubing, hoses, wiring, and discharge lines to withstand vibration, heat, moisture, and corrosive marine environments.

Perform system testing, commissioning, calibration, and functional checks.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system faults, leaks, electrical issues, or control failures.

Conduct routine inspections, verifications and preventative maintenance in accordance with service schedules.

Maintain accurate installation, inspection, service documentation.

Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures, including, lockout/tagout, and marine safety protocols.

Coordinate work with supervisors and clients.

Maintain tools, test equipment, vehicles,



and a clean, organized work area.

Ability to read and follow technical drawings and manufacturer documentation

Strong mechanical and basic electrical aptitude

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience installing or servicing vehicle, marine fire suppression, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.

Technical training in fire suppression systems, automated lubrication systems, marine systems, or mechanical trades preferred.

A valid Driver’s License
