Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a strong technical background and a passion for equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and team development in a manufacturing setting?We're hiring a Maintenance Manager for a leading manufacturing organization. This is a key plant leadership role responsible for leading the maintenance function, improving equipment performance and reliability, managing preventative maintenance programs, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility. You will lead a skilled maintenance team while working closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to minimize downtime and support overall plant performance.Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:Lead and manage the maintenance team, including resource planning, training, development, and performance managementPlan and coordinate equipment maintenance, repair, modification, and improvement activities across the facilityDevelop and maintain effective preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtimeMonitor daily equipment downtime, past-due PMs, departmental overtime, and other maintenance performance indicatorsDrive year-over-year continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, efficiency, cost reduction, and plant performanceDevelop annual maintenance budgets and monitor monthly performance, implementing corrective action plans where requiredCoordinate and supervise outside contractors supporting maintenance, facility, and equipment projectsSupport equipment specifications, cost estimates, project planning, equipment installations, relocations,
and facility improvementsManage spare parts inventory and approve purchasing requirements to support equipment reliabilityWork closely with Operations and other departments to identify equipment issues and implement sustainable corrective actionsSupport troubleshooting and resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, automation, and equipment-related issuesEnsure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSA, applicable regulatory requirements, and company standardsPromote a strong culture of health, safety, environmental responsibility, quality, and good housekeepingConduct workplace inspections, support incident investigations, and ensure hazards and unsafe conditions are addressed promptlyIdentify employee training requirements and coordinate technical and safety training with Human ResourcesProvide technical leadership and maintenance support across required shiftsPromote teamwork and collaboration within Maintenance and across plant departmentsMaintenance Manager Qualifications:Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Professional Engineering or a related engineering discipline requiredMinimum 5 years of progressive maintenance, engineering, or related manufacturing experiencePrevious supervisory or management experience requiredAutomotive manufacturing experience is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of industrial maintenance, equipment reliability,
