Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia seeks an Academic Evaluation Specialist in Burnaby. This role is dedicated to evaluating academic qualifications and supporting credentialing processes for engineering candidates.
You will be responsible for conducting thorough academic assessments, advising applicants, and coordinating with volunteer panels for effective evaluations. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving accreditation standards within the organization and supporting the academic community's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and categorize engineering and geoscience applications
• Communicate with applicants regarding assessment processes
• Develop training content for staff involved in evaluations




• Collaborate with Engineers Canada for curriculum updates
• Organize sessions for subcommittee meetings and agendas
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in a relevant role
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Training in credentials evaluation preferred
• Background in policy analysis and project management
• Excellent organizational and clear communication skills
